Got Hulu? Put These on Your Halloween Watch List!

One of the things that I love about October is the plethora of spooky movies!  So many to choose from...and not enough popcorn!  This is just a handful of Hulu faves.  Enjoy!

Spirits will do anything they can
to get your attention.  Anything.

When you want revenge, be careful
what you wish for.

This is a Spanish film and brings the zombie
genre to a whole new level.

One of my favorite tales of a haunted house --
and a haunted family.

This film plays as a documentary, which makes
the storyline all the more chilling.

This is an under appreciated Wes Craven film
that brings Night Terrors to life in a truly
horrifying way.

Halloween is just around the corner!  And there is so many more horror movies to watch till then.  Happy Haunting, Gang!

Got Amazon Prime? Here Are Some Horror Classics You'll Love!

When it comes to horror movies, I am Old School.  I grew up watching Dracula movies with Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing.  I stayed up late Saturday nights to see which campy horror flick, "Elvira's Movie Macabre" would show.  And those horror vignettes...oh, childhood memories!  Here are just a handful of the many classic horror films on Amazon Prime:

Terrifying tales from residents in an asylum from
revenge to the restless dead -- and so much more!

All of the Masters of Horror in one place for
a fun night of fright!

Dracula, Van Helsing, and...Kojak?  Haha!
Not quite.  But their is a prehistoric monster
on a train and it's just a bit pissed that
someone woke it up.

Wax figures coming to life is scary enough, but when they
are the likes of real-life monsters like
Jack the Ripper and Lizzy Borden BEWARE!

I'm just gonna say I love Karen Black.  The original Scream
Queen.  This trilogy of frightful tales is sure
to enterain.

Time for another Horror Movie Marathon!  Don't forget the popcorn!  And red licorice!  Have a delightfully frightful night!

Got Netflix? Here Are Some Spooky Tales Worth Checking Out!

October may be the month of Halloween, but I am a Horror Movie Addict 365 days of the year!  Here are some Netflix finds that I thought were worthy of this spooky month.  Time to pop that popcorn, turn out the lights, and ENJOY!

The Shirley Jackson tale takes on a new modern day evolution
and it does not disappoint!

Truly a frightful tale of witches, superstition, and
accusations.  And don't forget Black Philip.

A ghostly tale set in Thailand where respect
for the dead seals your own destiny.

This is like the Hotel California of board games.
You can check out, but you can never leave.

This flick was a pleasant surprise!  Not your typical
"Ghost hunters investigate  a haunted house" story.
This one is definitely worth the watch.

Zzzzzzoooooommmmmbies...

So, which kind of zombie do you like?  The slow moving dead ones from horror flicks such as, "Night of the Living Dead"?  Or the fast and frenzied infected zombies like those from, "World War Z"?  And, don't forget, "The Walking Dead"!  Well, my shop has a little bit of everything dead and undead...

Hope you all are enjoying this delightfully frightful October!  I'll be posting some of my Horror Movie Favorites in a bit.  Stay tuned, Boppers!

FreakShow, Dracula, and a Witch's Familiar. Sounds like October to Me!

Some new designs just listed in my Etsy shop!  I am absolutely LOVING this hinged bracelet with the Snake Charmer cameo. She is simply gorgeous!

This necklace is designed with a beautifully detailed bat book that I made into a pendant and complemented the piece with an assortment of glass, metal, and acrylic beads.  Bram Stoker's Dracula is one of my all-time go-to reads this time of year.  Seems only fitting to create something to honor Halloween, horror Mmovies, and a love for reading.

What can I say?  I LOVE Black Cats!  This cameo necklace is purr-fectly designed with a black cat cameo set on s striking rectangular setting and complemented with black and white beads.  The details in this cameo is simply amazing, right down to the details in this sweet kitty's fur.

In Halloween Mode

Actually, I'm pretty much always in Halloween mode.  Heh.  But this time of year gets me especially giddy.  The weather starts to cool down.  Leaves change.  And, of course, Halloween!

I designed this particular piece with a bit of Goth and a bit of all things spooky.  Make no mistake, the cross is quite substantial and will definitely be a bold statement to anyone who wears it.  And that, my pretties, is why I like it.

This is a One-of-a-Kind design and worthy for that One-of-a-Kind person who truly celebrates their individuality.  You know who you are!

Don't forget to keep checking back for new inspirations and ramblings!

New Designs at AngelQ Expressions!

I've been working on some new designs, while anxiously waiting for Fall.  And, yes, I ain't gonna lie. I am one of those Pumpkin Spice crazies.  Gimme some scones, scented candles, whatever.  I am there!

This piece is inspired by one (and I do believe, only) romantic film that actually made me cry.  "Somewhere in Time" stars Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour and is set in 1912 at a posh resort aptly named the "Grand Hotel".  Elise McKenna (Seymour) was a beautiful and elegant dame.  This piece is a modern take on something I think she would totally rock.

This bracelet is designed with absolutely gorgeous rondelle turquoise stone beads and a contemplative mermaid charm that fits the vibe perfectly.    Turquoise is known for its metaphysical properties as a healing stone, both physically and spiritually.   Ancient Egyptians, Persians, Chinese and Aztecs used this stone in jewelry and weaponry.  Native Americans adorned this stone, honoring the great spirit in the sky and connection with the universe.

Stay tuned for more designs!  Halloween is juuuuuust around the corner, Gang!  You know what that means?!?  Horror Movies!!!
